Flexible contribution scheme for ex-partners

New pension rules have been drawn up. Because of this, almost all pensions will change.

Your ex-partner accrued pension with us during your relationship. You are entitled to part of this pension. This pension will also change.

We expect this change to take place on 1 January 2027.

Many things will stay the same

  • The arrangements you made when you divorced will stay the same.
  • You will continue to receive your pension every month for as long as your former partner is alive.
  • Did your former partner accrue a partner’s pension during your relationship? Then you will receive this from the moment your partner die. You will receive it for the rest of your life.

What will change?

Pension will move more in line with the economy

This means that we will be able to increase your pension quicker when the economy is doing well. However, if the economy isn’t doing so well, we will also be able to reduce your pension.

At the end of each year, we will decide the amount of your pension for the following year. That amount will stay the same for the whole year.

We will take measures to reduce the risk of cuts

  • We will invest with less risk once you receive your pension.
  • We will spread investment results over several years. This means good years can help offset poorer years.
