With effect from 1 January 2026, Hans Veltkamp will act as chairman of the board at Pensioenfonds PGB. He is currently chairman of the board at Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering. Veltkamp succeeds Jochem Dijckmeester, who joined De Nederlandsche Bank as divisional director in November 2024.
Hans Veltkamp has over 30 years of experience in the world of pensions. He advised national and international organisations on their strategic pension policies and their implementation. He has been an independent chairman of the board at Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering for 3.5 years. Before that, he was a board member of this pension fund for 11 years. In the past period, he has been intensively involved at Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering with the proposed transition to the new pension system as of 1 January 2026.
Hans Kamps, Vice-Chairman of Pensioenfonds PGB: "We are excited about Hans Veltkamp joining us and, as a board, we look forward to the collaboration with confidence. With his knowledge and experience, Hans can further guide Pensioenfonds PGB in our intended transition to the new pension system on 1 January 2027 and the period thereafter."
Hans Veltkamp: "I'm really looking forward to joining Pensioenfonds PGB. It's a special pension fund that serves many sectors, both mandatory and voluntary. This makes the fund a leader in the group pension market. The fund's growth to where it is today is the result of a strong collaboration between the board, social partners, and the implementing organisation. I'm happy to contribute my experience and background to this collaboration and the future of Pensioenfonds PGB. I'm also looking forward to meeting the people and organisations involved with Pensioenfonds PGB. At the same time, I realise I'm leaving Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering at a very special time; the fund is expected to transition to the new pension system on 1 January 2026. I have great confidence in the organisation and the many capable people within the fund who will continue to guide this process in the right direction."
