In the 2nd quarter of 2023, we informed you about our new pension schemes. View our new pension schemes and the choices you have here. Based on these options, you as an employer or sector make final choices about the new pension scheme. You record these choices in a transition plan.
Have a look at the transition plan template. We are happy to help you write the transition plan. That is why we have prepared a template transition plan, giving you an idea of what should be included. Please contact your account manager or our Relationship Management department for the template. We will let you know how to complete the transition plan no later than the 4th quarter of 2023, and you will then also receive a final version of the plan. You must send us your transition plan before 1 October 2024.

And what needs to happen for the transition from the current pension scheme to the new pension scheme. We support the social partners in making these choices.
In that case, you draw up this transition plan yourself. In it you, as the employer, explain the considerations and choices about the new pension scheme selected by you. And what needs to happen for the transition from the current pension scheme to the new pension scheme. We can help you and support you in making these choices.
From 2027, your employees will accrue a pension in the new scheme
Minister Schouten postponed the final transition moment from 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2028. By doing so, she met an important objection voiced by the Senate. Pensioenfonds PGB is still aiming for a transition as of 1 January 2027 and expects to be able to achieve that. Jochem Dijckmeester (Chairman of the Board): “We have many partners to take into account, so keeping the momentum going is critical. I also notice in conversations with participants that they want clarity fast about how the pension change will affect them specifically.”
The timeline below shows how we will work together towards the new pension until 1 January 2027.
