In doing so, we are complying with the privacy legislation laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation, in Dutch the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming. In our Privacy statement, you can read which personal details we record, what we do with these personal details and what rights you have. Below is a summary of this statement. Your details which we record In our pension administration, the personal details which we record depend on your situation:• general personal details such as your full name and address, as well as your email address;• particular personal details such as your gender, civil status, citizens service number (BSN) and details about your employment contract or the benefits you receive. Your personal details are processed for the following reasonsWe record your details so that we can calculate your pension in the correct way; and to communicate with you, by means of letters and emails, or via your personal website mijnpgbpensioen.nl. This ensures you are always well informed about your pension. We also record details so that we can analyse our service. In order, for example, to enable you to have a say about our investment policy or to further improve our service and way of communicating. From whom do we obtain your personal details We obtain some of your personal details from your employer. We check these details and we then supplement them via the BPR (Personal Records Database). In addition, we receive data from the UWV (Employee Insurance Agency). But you also provide us with information yourself, such as your bank account number for pension payments. We treat your details prudently and confidentially This involves your details. Therefore, we treat them prudently and confidentially. We only share these details with other parties if it is necessary and we are permitted to do so. For example, we share them with the National Pensions Register (NPR) to ensure that you have a complete picture of your pension (via mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl); and with the printer, who prints and sends your annual pension statement. We retain your details for a specific periodWe will never retain your details for longer than necessary. We keep information such as your name, address, place of residence and employment-related details, for example your salary, for as long as you participate in any of our pension schemes or receive a pension from us. And, in line with legislative requirements, for a maximum of 7 years after that. Occasionally, we retain some details for even longer; for example, when legal proceedings are pending. Your rights and options in respect of your privacy and personal detailsYou have a number of rights and options in respect of your privacy and personal details For example, on mijnpgbpensioen.nl you can indicate whether or not you want to receive your post digitally. If so, you must provide us with your email address. In addition you have the following rights: The right to inspect your personal details Would you like to know exactly which of your personal details we have recorded? If you are (or were) a participant or you receive a pension from us, you can see most of these personal details on mijnpgbpensioen.nl. In addition, you may ask us which of your personal details we have on record, or state which details you would like to inspect. You can do so by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by posing a question via our contact form.The right to amend your personal detailsIf you are (or were) a participant or you receive a pension from us, you can amend a number of details yourself; for example whether or not you want to receive your post digitally, or your email address. You do so via mijnpgbpensioen.nl. Address changes within the Netherlands should be passed on to your Municipality, we cannot change these details for you. If there are other details you would like amended but cannot change them yourself, please just send us an email via email@example.com or pose your question via our contact form. Then we will consider how we can help you.The right to delete your personal detailsIf you are (or were ) a participant or you receive a pension from us, you can delete a number of details yourself; for example whether or not you want to receive your post digitally, or your email address. You do so via mijnpgbpensioen.nl. In addition, you can ask us to have other personal details deleted. We will be able to do so if we no longer need these details for our administration; or if it become apparent that your details have not been recorded correctly. If you would like to have some details deleted, please send an email via firstname.lastname@example.org or pose your question via our contact form. Then we will consider how we can help you. Transferring your personal detailsIf you need to have your details transferred to another organisation, we can send these in a file that can be processed immediately and automatically by that organisation. It is a very simple process. To this end, you should send an email to email@example.com or you request this file from us via our contact form.Restricting the processing of details or submitting objections We need to have your details so that we can conduct an efficient administration on your behalf, but in a few cases you may object to your details being processed or you may request that their processing be restricted. For example, because you believe that your details are being improperly used. In such cases, you may submit a request to us.
