Employment and dismissal

A new job can have an impact on your employee’s pension. If you hire a new employee, or an employee leaves the company for a job elsewhere, we ask you for the following information.

A new job affects your employee’s pension
Your employee has only being accruing pension with us for a short time. It’s essential your employee is aware what has, and what hasn’t, been arranged for him/her.

Your employees can choose from 4 options
Dependent on your pension scheme, an employee can choose from four options.

Would he/she like to:
1. transfer any previously accrued pension to us?
2. accrue extra retirement pension?
3. accrue extra partner’s pension?
4. insure a surviving dependants (ANW) pension.

How to inform your employees

It is important you provide information to your employees. You can do so by referring them to this page. We will also provide information to your employee within three months of them being employed by you. Does your employee find it difficult to make choices? If your employee has found work elsewhere, this has consequences for his/her pension.

Your employee will most likely no longer be building up pension with us. The following changes for your employee:
- If your employee dies, his/her partner will receive less or no pension from us.
- If your employee becomes incapacitated for work, we will not pay for building up his/her pension.

1. to transfer pension built up earlier?
2. more pension for his/her partner?
3. to build up pension voluntarily?

How to inform your employee
It is important that you inform your employee. You can do so via this page. We will inform your employee as well.
