Supplementary schemes

Pensioenfonds PGB offers 5 different supplementary pension schemes.

Extra retirement pension
Is the partner pension that employees build up with us less than 70% of the retirement pension? Then employers with an average salary scheme can arrange for their employees to build up extra partner pension. This allows employees to receive a higher pension from us later. Employees can also build up extra partner pension themselves.

Surviving Dependants Act pension
There are few people who receive Surviving Dependants Act pension from the government when their partner dies. For this reason, employers can take out a Surviving Dependants Act Plus pension. If an employee dies, his/her partner receives this pension in addition to the partner pension. The Surviving Dependants Act pension stops when the partner receives old-age pension. Employees can also insure Surviving Dependants Act pension themselves.

Invalidity pension
Do employees earn more than € 52,766 per year (amount 2016)? Then their income will most likely decrease drastically should they become incapacitated for work. This insurance allows employers to ensure that the decrease in income is less drastic.

Net partner pension
Do employees earn more than € 101,519 per year (amount 2016)? Then they do not build up pension above this amount – and thereby not partner pension either. With this insurance, employers arrange for extra partner pension for their employees who earn more than € 101,519 per year.
